IT technology have developed rapidly, many people have used the computer, notebook and smart phone. As a result, we are easy to access the internet and many people surf the internet. Internet is good place to express the one’s thinking, opinion through internet message boards. When we write on the many Internet message boards, many Internet message boards guarantee anonymity. But anonymity cause the many problems in the our society.

 

First, many people post abusive comments anonymously in the internet message boards such as tweeter, facebook and cyworld about singer, movie actor, politician. Thus, abusive comments give them the stress and shock. because of abusive comments, some of singers commit suicide.

 

Second, because of anonymity, many people lose the humanity and ethicality. When we write on the anonymity internet message boards, no one knows who write the comments. In this case, they do not redeem their duty about their comments, so they become the blate persons about humanity and ethicality.

 

In order to prevent the problems, we have to institute the real name system. If we write the internet message boards in the real name system, we have to duty about their comments, so they become the prudent persons about their comments. 

 

Social Commerce

   Smart phone got a lot of changes in our life. Among changes, social commerce influenced in our consumption culture. We can see the social commerce advertisement as smart phone and buy the goods cheaply by the social commerce coupon and easy to find the good store using the social commerce. But the social commerce has the problem.

 

 

If we order the food to social commerce coupon, we can order in the cheap price at the restaurant. But, the food that order by coupon is bad quality than the food ordering in normal price. it is very rude and makes a person unpleasantly. Also, I got angry after I knew the truth. if the store advertises that they sell the food in the cheap price using the social commerce, they may sell more than other stores. Because people want to eat the food cheaper than orignal price. But, though the store advertises that they sell food cheaper than orignal price food, they do not sell the same food when guests order the food using the social commerce coupon and bad quality food, so it is big problem.

 

In order to prevent the problem, social commerce company tighten regulations about social commerce advertising stores and keep an eye on the social commerce  advertising stores.

Some reasons why marijuanas were legalized

Today, many people were died by the cigarettes and alcohols in Korea. But the cigarettes and alcohols are legal in the Korea. Many people were not died by the marijuanas. But the marijuanas are illegal in the Korea. Thus, I think that government have to legalize the use of marijuanas and I have some reasons why marijuanas were legalized.

First, many researches report that marijuanas are less harmful than cigarettes and alcohols. if you smoke the Cigarettes, you are smoking ammonia, acetone, benzene, and carbon monoxide. It is very harmful ingredient for people and cause the cancer. Also, if you drink the alcohols, you do not know your limits or you just don't follow the rules. There are many deaths caused by driving while intoxicated. But No studies have conclusively shown that marijuanas is physically addictive and researches report that marijuanas are less addictive than cigarettes.

 

Second, if marijuanas are legalized, it could be controlled and taxed. Instead of spending millions every year making drug busts the U.S. government could be making money in tax revenue from the new product.

 

Actually, it is hard to legalize the marijuana. because the government makes a large mount of money from the tax on Cigarettes. Also, cigarettes and alcohol companies have lots of dollars to spend the lobbying congress. But marijuana manufacturers do not spend the lobbying congress. In order to legalize the marijuana, government have to reduce the supply of cigarettes.

 

Which are responsible for cause of the blackout?

   Rotation blackout happened for 5 hours on September 15, 2011. Because of the blackout, many citizens were damaged. Many traffic lights went out, so it causes the traffic congestion and many people were stuck in the elevator. also small company were damaged. The total number of damaged companies were 4,588 and Total sum of damage is estimated at 30.1 billion won. Then, which are cause of the blackout ? I think that KEPCO and electricity power consumers cause the blackout.

 

Electricity generation companies always have to prepare the estimated power supply capability, so have to prepare 700,000,000 kw. But when the Rotation blackout happened, electricity generation companies generate only 67,520,000 KW, so when the Rotation blackout happened, only 2,400,000KW reserve power remained. If reserve power is zero, all of city in korea blackout at the same time, not just Rotation blackout. Then, why power companies were unable to supply power sufficiently? Because Electricity generation company had reduced supply for scheduled maintenance work, so generation company generated only 67,520,000 KW. As a result, the blackout happened. Also, electricity power consumers were using too much air conditioner due to an unseasonable heat wave. As a result, KEPCO could not afford to supply the Electricity power, so blackout happened.

 

In order to prevent the blackout, electricity power consumers reduce the excessive consumption and KEPCO has decided to take measures for ensuring a stable supply of electricity.

Korea English education

Korea English education has focused on the test , so many students have prepared test to enter the university. It is not practical english study and make difficult to develop english ability. But removing test is impossible.In order to develop english ability and give practical english education ,  Korea high school English test has to change to the neat. Neat is writing,speaking, reading,listening test, so if Korea high school English test will change to the neat, students will study writing,speaking, reading,listening,  not just reading and listening. second solution is the admision office system. If all of university will evaluate students using admision office system,korea high school teachers will teach the practical English to student and the stdent's English ability will developed.

Minimum wage system.

After I was listening the presentation, I thought that this presentation was the informative presentation that specifically explained the korea’s minimum wage system. Because I will graduate from the university this winter and I will become a employee so I am interested in wage system.

 

In the presentation, there are two different sides for this debate. labor’s side insist that have to rise the 20% of minimum wage. On the other hand, employer’s side insist that have to down the 10% of minimum wage. Of cource , I agree the labor’s side. If you work on the convenience store during the 1 years, you can barely pay the 1 years university tuition. Like this, korea’s wage level is so low than the korea’s price level . And If government rise the 20% of minimum wage, lively economic activity will happen and will increase labor’s consumption. Then, demand is increased and employer’s profit also will increase by economic evitalization.

 

In conclusion, government have to carry out the both side’s compromise policy.  But government must consider more labor’s living than employer’s profit so government have to rise the 20% of minimum wage.

Hybrid car is the bright side.

  Recently, I was interested in hybrid car so I thought that this presentation was the informative presentation to me. If fossil fuels will be depleted in the future, we have to use an alternative energy source and we have to ride in electric car. Hybrid car is transitional period car from gasoline car to electric car so it is interesting field to me who major in Electrical Engineering.

 

We discussed the advantages of the hybrid car in the class and my opinion was that hybrid system make to break away dependence of fossil fuels.

First reason is that it is eco-friendly system. Hybrid system make electric energy using the waste of mechanic energy so we can reduce air pollution as much as the generated electric energy.

 

Second reason is that it is economical system. The price of oil continued to climb steeply so the more The price of oil rise, the more hybrid system that it is passible to save the oil of 25% will be economical system.

 

Although there are still to be improved, the prospect of a hybrid car is the bright side.
